Meadows Committee
Meadows
The interest in enhancing the meadows was first raised at the 2018 MVFPOA Annual Meeting. Since then, the Association and the Board have taken a systematic approach to maintaining the meadows. In 2022, the Meadows Committee enlisted the expertise of Kathy Connolly, a landscape designer well-versed in the use of native plants. The Board committed to a three-year project aimed at creating a nature-friendly common space. This space will feature a variety of attractive plants that support birds and insects, including native perennials, flowering shrubs, trees, and grasses. The Board and Association will review the progress in 2025 and make future decisions accordingly.
