Our Meadows Project
The interest in enhancing the meadows was first raised at the 2018 MVFPOA Annual Meeting. Since then, the Association and the Board have taken a systematic approach to maintaining the meadows. In 2022, the Meadows Committee enlisted the expertise of Kathy Connolly, a landscape designer well-versed in the use of native plants. The Board committed to a three-year project aimed at creating a nature-friendly common space. This space will feature a variety of attractive plants that support birds and insects, including native perennials, flowering shrubs, trees, and grasses. In July 2025, the Board distributed a ballot to all homeowners, and a majority voted in favor of continuing the Meadows Project beyond its initial three-year phase.
